Benevolent Fund

We are pleased to inform you that ‘Sasanka Shekhar Bhattacharya Benevolent Fund’ is being instituted to recognize young brains of the Bengali Residents of Paschim Vihar and adjoining area as per the area, covered and mentioned in the constitution of Paschim Vihar Bengali Association.
Two meritorious students of Class – Xth as per result declared by CBSE Board with 85% plus marks will be eligible recipients of the fund along with a letter of appreciation.
The announcement of the award will be made on the evening of Navami in the ‘Puja Pandal of Durga Puja’ each year and awards presented there in.
A selection committee has been formed to decide on the recipient of the awards keeping in view the marks obtained and other criteria as per rules laid down by the selection committee.
Applications to this effect are invited from eligible students.
Candidates are requested to collect the application forms from PVBA Office and return the same with proper enclosures as mentioned in the form.
The decisions of selection committee will be final and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
This award will be presented each year on ‘Navami’ in the Durga Puja Pandal, however other fields like sports, culture etc may be included in future years.
