Library Day Celebrations on 4 July 2026
The Mandir Library celebrated the annual Library Day on 4th July 2026 with great enthusiasm, bringing together devotees, members, and young readers to promote the joy of reading and lifelong learning.
The event commenced with a welcome address by the President of PVBA, Mr. S. G. Kundu, who highlighted the invaluable role of libraries and books in fostering knowledge, character building, and enabling lifelong learning. This was followed by a devotional bhajan seeking the blessings of the Almighty.
The program also featured addresses by the key members managing the day-to-day functioning of the library. They emphasized the importance of cultivating the habit of reading and spoke about how books play a vital role in shaping an individual’s personality, values, and outlook towards life.
A major highlight of the celebration was the vibrant cultural program, which included soulful songs, poetry recitations, and an engaging quiz competition. Participants of all age groups enthusiastically took part, making the event both educational and entertaining.
