Summer: 06:00 am – 12:30 pm, 06:00 pm – 09:30 pm
Winter: 06:30 am – 01:00 pm, 05:30 pm – 09:00 pm
The Kali Mandir performs daily puja round the year as per rituals. Aarti is performed each morning and evening and Ma is also offered with bhog every morning and evening.
Amavasya is the first day of the new month, hence considered to be the auspicious for the new beginning. The new moon brings new life. Each month, Amavasya puja is performed followed by offering bhog.
Purnima is the Indian word for a full moon day. Satyanarayana puja is performed followed by distribution of prasad.
The Holy Mother's birthday is celebrated on this day. From early morning, puja, homa and chanting of slokas are performed. Arrangements are made to distribute prasad and bhog after the puja. The mandir is decked up with floral presentation and illuminated in the evening followed by cultural performance and community dinner.
The most important event of PVBA starts with Anando Mela on Panchami, Sasthi, Saptami, Asthami, Navami and Dashami bring in all members and residents with their families and friends to celebrate the days with special puja, cultural shows, competitions, and fun filled days which residents and members keenly wait for. Maa Kali is worshipped on the new moon day of Hindu month Kartik and coincides with the Lakshmi Puja, the day of Diwali. The Kali Mandir is decorated with flowers and lights. Devotees enjoy the evening lighting diyas and join for anjali followed by the special bhog which is served in the midnight.
Maa Jagadhatri is the protector of the universe, the supreme goddess. This puja is performed in Goashtami, a date decided by the luni-solar Hindu calendar. This puja is performed in mandir premises.
Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge, music, arts, and science is worshipped as Saraswati Puja or Basant Panchami organised in the mandir premise. Devotees join to offer Anjali followed by bhog.
Goddess Annapurna is the Goddess of Plenty. Worshipping Goddess Annapurna signifies that the barn will never be empty as “Anna” means food grains and "Purna" means full. Maa Annapurna is worshipped in the premises of mandir with religious fervour each year.
